- Watch for: Pain/swelling in the testicles, lumps, discharge, painful urination, blood in urine/semen, persistent erectile or fertility issues.
- Get help if: Sudden severe scrotal pain/swelling (possible torsion), inability to pass urine, high fever with urinary symptoms, or prolonged erection (>4 hours).

- Ensure adequate (at least six hours) refreshing sleep daily
- Avoid physical and emotional stress
- Practice safe sex all the time
- Practice good hygiene
- Discuss your traditional beliefs and practices regarding your health with your doctor in order to avoid harmful practices
